How BooBoo Baby broke through its ceiling and grew revenue 385% in one quarter

The owners ran Google Ads themselves and couldn't raise the budget without losing profit. We rebuilt the account from zero and scaled it step by step.

The challenge

BooBoo Baby's owners started out running Google Ads themselves. They spent a few hundred a month, and it worked up to a point. But every time they tried to raise the budget, profitability collapsed. They were stuck. They didn't just want someone to push the buttons. They wanted a partner who would take them through the process and explain what was happening along the way.

The approach

1. Rebuilt from zero. No gambling on automated campaigns. We started with manual CPC bidding on Search and Shopping. That gave us full control over where BooBoo Baby showed up, and clean data to build on. 2. Focus on two hero products. Once we had enough data, we switched to automated bidding. We segmented the products by performance and put the focus on two winners: a baby food maker and a baby swing. Those were the products that made the most profit. 3. Test, then scale. With the hero products, we tested Standard Shopping against Performance Max. PMax won. We built it out and raised the budget in phases, keeping ROAS on target. 4. Open about the numbers. Scaling a budget takes trust, especially in the phase where ROAS isn't perfect yet but you're buying volume and market share. We replied on Slack within 24 hours and had a video call every two weeks to go through the numbers and agree on next steps.

The results

The main goal was reached: we broke through the ceiling and drove real volume. Total Shopify revenue grew 385% quarter on quarter.

Google Ads conversion value went up 428%, and conversions went up 132%. In this period, Google Ads became a strong driver of growth for the whole store.

The lesson

BooBoo Baby didn't need more budget on day one. It needed a test structure it could rely on, and a partner who was open about what was and wasn't working. With both in place, the owners could take bigger steps with confidence.
